Major new developments in the format of Bigg Boss season 4 due to the coronavirus pandemic; Deets inside

During these tough times of pandemic, the announcement of Bigg Boss season 4 came in as a huge relief for the Telugu audiences. Broadcaster Star Maa announced that the new season of the Bigg Boss would begin very soon. We hear that it will premiere on August 30. If the latest buzz is anything to go by, the producers are coming up with a lot of changes this season keeping the current situation in mind.

The previous season of Bigg Boss ran for 15 weeks. But this time, the makers have cut it down to seven weeks (50 days). Last time, there were a total of 17 contestants. But this season, there will be only 13 housemates. Apparently, all the housemates will be in self-isolation for 15 days prior to the launch of the show. They will get tested thoroughly before entering the house. Even after entering the house, they will be under special care so that no health issues arise among them. It seems that there will not be any wild card entry this season. The makers don't want to introduce any new contestant in midway, considering the pandemic situation outside.

Nagarjuna will be continuing as the host for this season as well. We hear that celebrities like Shraddha Das, Yamini Bhaskar, Priya Vadlamani, Raghu Master, Noel Sean, and Mangli will be some of the contestants for this season.
