Thayige Thakka Maga Movie Director Shashank and his team was shocked after the Censor Board granted 'A' certificate. The film is releasing on November 16 across Karnataka. Kannada film makers have always complaint that the censor board is Imperfect.
While non Kannada films with lots of violence are given U/A certificate or even got U certificates, Where as Kannada films which have much less violent content are given A certificate. Shashank will address the media on this issue on Monday. A certificate for the film will mean that multiplexers and other theatres will not allow persons below 18 years inside the theatres.
This will Surely impact on box office collections. Parents will not be able to take their children to this movie. It is a big surprise that a film on the relationship between a mother and a son has got an A certificate. Shashank says that, he is very shocked with the certificate issued to his film. It is not known what action he will take now since the release of the film is so near.
