Janhvi Kapoor, who's all set to charm the audience as Roohi, talks about her first film Dhadak and how people were skeptical about her acting skills. While Janhvi has performed well in her following films, such as Ghost Stories and Gunjan Saxena, she recalls people being divided on whether she can act or not. "After Dhadak, people were divided on whether I can act or not. I knew main khokli artiste nahin hoon; I hadn’t showcased my skills enough in that film. I work with the objective that I want to grow as an actor. I don’t want to be boxed. People are quick with opinions, and I know I have to keep chasing diverse roles to prove myself. In Roohi, I surrendered myself to the two diametrically opposite characters. There were scenes where I had to switch between the two roles in the same take. I had a blast doing the film because it offered a vast playing field. I did not care about vanity, and looked scary in the movie," she said in an interview with a leading tabloid.
