Aditya Roy Kapur is all set to be seen in his upcoming film Ludo, which will release on OTT platform, I.e. Netflix. It is a multi-starrer which also stars actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. But things haven't been much rosy for the actor as his last film Sadak 2 which released on Disney+ Hotstar received a lot of flak from the audience and it failed to do well.
Talking about the same, Aditya says that he tries to stay away from social media in order to not get much affected by the failures. "I think I managed to keep a distance from a lot of things that are going on because I am kind of disconnected with things. I don’t have too many social media accounts and ever since the pandemic started I stopped reading the newspapers also. So I am really disconnected with things which were on the ground and in a situation which is out of my control, you can’t do anything about it and eventually a film finds its destiny," he told a leading website.
Adding further, the Malang actor said, "It finds its place wherever it needs to in people’s minds whenever they watch it. So in this case (Sadak 2) I was more disconnected than normal. I wasn’t getting a minute-to-minute or day-to-day updates about things, if I were then maybe things would have been different and I might have been affected, but since I stayed away from it all I wasn’t much affected by the debacle.”
While Malang performed satisfactorily, Aditya's previous films such as Kalank and Ok Jaanu did not perform well. Since he will be seen in a different role in Ludo, Aditya's fans are quite excited for the film. Stay tuned with us for more latest updates on Bollywood.
