The farmers' protest in India against the farm laws has been going strong for the past more than one month. The situation aggravated when the Hollywood pop singer Rihanna tweeted about the same and led to massive hue and cry. Soon after her tweet, Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, and others released their statements asking people to stay away from fake propaganda. Akshay wrote, "Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution, rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda."
