South Indian film star Nagarjuna who just finished shooting for the movie Bhramastra took to Twitter and wrote “And it’s a wrap for me on #Brahmāstra . Such an amazing experience it has been with our stellar performers #Ranbir and @Aliaa08. Can’t wait for you guys to witness the outstanding world #AyanMukerji has created. #TheBigIndianMovie #Brahmastra”.
Nagarjuna who was last seen in Telugu movie Manmadhudu 2 shared few snaps with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji. The film which is a superhero fantasy flick also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy in the cast. Alia and Ranbir will be seen for the first time together in this movie which has been in the making for a few years now. The movie which was supposed to come out in summer 2020 got delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Initially slated as a trilogy is scheduled for release in 3D, IMAX and standard formats.
Karan Johar whose Dharma Production with Fox Star Studios is set to release it in five different languages- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam also confirmed that the film is a "romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format." and that the film is not something which "doesn't have truth to it, or which is unbelievable".
The initial title of the movie was Dragon but was later confirmed as Bhramastra and the director Ayan Mukerji explained the title Brahmāstra' "resonates with the "ancient wisdom, energies and power," He additionally revealed that it is a "contemporary film with ancient elements.
