Earlier, Amala Akkineni posted about the project in the discussion. She posted the following long back on her Twitter profile.

"An actor is blessed with many lives. Usually after a film when I go back to work & everyone is going about their day normally with no idea of what I have been through in the last 2 weeks, I think to myself, “I just lived another exciting life & returned. How fortunate is that!” Seen as Amma in Sharawanand & Shree Karthick’s Tamil/Telugu bilingual film by Dream Warrior Pictures, working title Project 18. @DreamWarriorpic @prabhu_sr #Sharwanand @twittshrees @riturv @sujithsarang @actorsathish #Rameshthilak @vennelakishore @priyadarshi_i #Raviraghavendra."

Music director Anirudh Ravichander's father Ravi Raghavendra plays husband to Amala in the film. Along with Sharwanand and Ritu Varma, the film also stars Priyadarshi Pulikonda in one of the key roles. Vennela Kishore too is a part of the film. Sujith Sarang is the cinematographer for the movie.
