Anupama Parameswaran takes to social media to raise awareness about parvovirus that took her pets’ Toddy and Rum's lives

Anupama Parameswaran takes to social media to raise awareness about parvovirus that took her pets’ Toddy and Rum's lives

Anupama Parameswaran has been away from social media for a while now. She took to her Instagram to let everyone why she was away and what happened. In a video, she explained that she lost two of her canine buddies to an illness caused by canine parvovirus. Anupama used to have three pet dogs, Whiskey, Toddy and Rum. All of them were affected by a virus called parvovirus. While Whiskey overcame the illness, Toddy and Rum were unable to and passed away recently. Anupama says that she was unaware of the illness and that she could not save them. So she’s putting out a video to raise awareness about parvovirus so people know of it and can detect the virus before it’s too late.

 
Anupama Parameswaran shared the video along with a list of signs and symptoms of parvovirus. She took to the caption to pen an emotional note about what happened and how she would like to help others by raising awareness about the virus. She wrote, “Tried every single day since June 8th to make this video... was devastated and depressed... the pain was unbearable... and that exactly is the reason why I wanted to make this video... could not rescue my boys... but what happened to us shouldn’t happen to anyone else... we have only whiskey left now... he is better now..but glad atleast he is with us... On the work front, Anupama Parameshwaran was last seen in the 2019 film Rakshasudu. The psychological thriller also starred actor Sai Srinivas Bellamkonda. The film was a remake of the 2018 Tamil film Ratsasan starring actors Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul. Anupama will next appear in the films Maniyarayile Ashokan and Thalli Pogathey. She is also working as the assistant director for the film Maniyarayile Ashokan. Thalli Pogathey is the Telugu remake of Telugu film Ninnu Kori.
