The Telugu film industry big wigs have met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao a few days back. They have discussed the resuming of shoots. The government assured that it will give full support to the film industry during these tough times. Meanwhile, actor Nandamuri Balakrishna
made interesting statements on this meet. He said that he is unaware of the meeting and only came to know about it through newspapers and television channels.
Balakrishna visited NTR Ghat this morning to pay tribute to his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. After paying his respects to NTR, Balakrishna spoke with the media. He said that he is unaware of the meeting between the film industry and KCR. Balakrishna opined that the shootings should resume soon with a few rules and restrictions. He said that it will help the workers to earn their income.
The governments of both the Telugu states have offered support to the film industry. Both the CMs stated that they will extend support to the poor and daily wage workers of the industry. Going by the inside reports, the shootings may resume in mid-June. Already, KCR allowed the film industry to resume their post-production works.
Coming back to Balayya, the actor is currently acting in an untitled film which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. This is the third film in the combination of Balayya and Boyapati, after Simha and Legend. The film completes its first schedule and is gearing up for the second one. It is being bankrolled by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy.
