The recent meeting of the Telugu film industry members with Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao didn't go well with actor Balakrishna. He seems to be visibly upset about not inviting him to the meetings. Earlier today, Balakrishna stated that no one informed him about the meetings with the government. He said that he only came to know about it through media reports. Now, a video started flowing on the internet, in which Balayya fumed on the industry members and asked whether they are discussing any secret real-estate businesses in these meetings.
In the video, we can see Balayya saying, 'Why didn't they call me for the meeting? So many meetings got held in recent times. Did anyone invite me? Are they distributing lands among themselves in Hyderabad? I came to know about them through Google. Looks like they are doing real-estate business.'
Earlier today, Balakrishna visited NTR Ghat to pay tributes to his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. He made similar comments while speaking to the media over there. On the whole, it looks like the Ruler actor is quite upset about the ignorance that is being shown on him by the Telugu film industry.
On the other side, the industry members have a different take on the issue. Minister Talasani said that only active film personalities are attending the meetings. Producer C. Kalyan was blunt in saying that the meeting is for the producers and not the actor. He added that Chiru and Nagarjuna were there as their face value adds up in helping the industry.
