Sushant Singh Rajput
met an untimely death at the young age of just 34. The actor was found dead in his Bandra home on June 14. Ever since then many people have urged the government to call in the CBI for a probe. This request has finally begun to take shape on Wednesday. The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered a CBI probe into Sushant’s death and urged the Maharashtra government to extend support.

welcomed the decision on Twitter and wrote, “SC directs CBI to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. May the truth always prevail #Prayers.”
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut

Veteran actor Anupam Kher
also tweeted writing, “Jai ho, Jai ho, Jai ho #CBIForSSR #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput.”
Shweta Singh who is the sister of the late actor took to Twitter and wrote, “There we go!! Finally!! CBI for SSR!! #CBITakesOver.” She followed it up with tweets where she expressed full faith in the CBI. She wrote: “Thank you God! You have answered our prayers!! But it is just the beginning... the first step towards the truth! Full faith on CBI!! #Victoryoffaith #GlobalPrayersForSSR #Wearefamily #CBITakesOver.”

Justice Hrishikesh Roy pronounced the judgment on Wednesday. He has also allowed the CBI to probe into the alleged FIR filed by Sushant’s family in Patna.
