Buzz: Ravi Teja's Krack to have a direct online release;Leading streaming platform in talks with producers

After the debacle of Disco Raja earlier this year, Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is planning to strike back hard with his next film Krack. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, this movie was originally slated for the release on May 8. However, the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown has affected the release plans of the movie. The latest we hear is that the makers are planning for a direct digital release for this movie.

According to the sources, a few leading OTT platforms are holding talks with the producers of Krack. Apparently, they are offering a fancy deal for the movie. The makers are yet to take their decision though. In Bollywood, star actors like Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar have opted for the direct digital release for their movies. It seems that even Ravi Teja realized the potential of the OTT market and is planning to release Krack online. Ravi Teja also has three other projects in hand right now. Releasing one of his films on a digital platform will not affect his market value anyway. More details about Krack's OTT release will be out soon.

Krack features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Thaman is composing the music of this film. Krack marks the reunion of Ravi Teja, Shruti, Gopichand, and Thaman after the 2013 film Balupu. Samudhirakani and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar are playing other key roles in this movie. Tagore Madhu is bankrolling the project.
