As we have almost spent eight months struggling with the brunt of the pandemic, the Bollywood actress opens up about her personal account with the situation. "This has been a tough, unusual year for each one of us. The world we knew has changed and may never be the same again. Life pre-pandemic seems like a lifetime ago. But the past few months have given me some much-needed time off, which I was able to put to good use. It gave me the time to reflect, to introspect, think about life and my part in it. It was like hitting the reset button," said Diana.
She tells the lessons she has learned from this stressful time and added, “I think the most important lessons I have learnt from this time are to be grateful for what I have, to never complain and to value the people that are important to me. We take a lot for granted in our busy lives. The pandemic has given me the opportunity to rectify that. I have always lived my life one day at a time, and these last few months have only reinforced the importance of that.”
Talking further about her own way of dealing with it, Diana shares her positive attitude. "Through all the chaos, panic and uncertainty, I found a quiet comfort in the fact that we are all in this together. Adversity brings people together as people try to find hope — the hope that we will get through this, together. I am also grateful that I was able to be at home during the lockdown and wasn’t stuck out of town, away from family. Honestly, being with my family and my dog, Victoria, is what kept me going these last few months," concluded the Cocktail actress.
