We all are aware of the ugly spat between Bangaram actress Meera Chopra and a few Jr. NTR fans that happened about a week ago. The actress filed a case on some of the Twitter handles through which fans have abused her. Finally, the Cyber Crime Police of Hyderabad has started investigating the case. They have identified 15 handles that made obscene comments on Meera. Out of them, 10 handles are now deleted. Cyber Crime Police are now writing to Twitter India to retrieve the data of the deleted accounts.
According to the reports, the cops are already on the search of the people behind the other five handles. Most likely, they will also trace the rest of the ten handles within a few days.
It all started when Meera Chopra said that she doesn't know Jr. NTR. In a recent interaction on Twitter, a fan asked her opinion on NTR. Meera said she doesn't know him. This statement didn't go well with Tarak fans. They started abusing her and also sent rape threats. Meera couldn't take such behavior and complained about them to the Cyber Crime Police. This is not the first time a celebrity got bullied and abused by fans. Cyberbullying has become a norm as people have a choice to abuse by being anonymous. However, Meera didn't keep calm and took the right decision. Many of her fans and the other industry celebrities are appreciating her brave move.
