Ranveer Singh’s wife and actress Deepika Padukone and Sara Ali Khan’s mother, yesteryears actress Amrita Singh graced the special screening of the Simmba at Yash Raj Studios here in Mumbai.
The makers of Simmba hosted a special screening of the film at Yash Raj Studios last night at Mumbai. The entire cast, crew and noted Bollywood celebs graced the screening. Deepika Padukone along with entire Bhavnani clan including Jagjit Singh, Anju, and Ritika Bhavnani was spotted at the screening. Actor Sara Ali Khan’s mother Amrita Singh and his younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan were also spotted at the screening.
Simmba is Sara Ali Khan's second Bollywood film. She debuted in the film industry with Kedarnath as lead actress, which starred Sushant Singh Rajput opposite her.
Deepika looked gorgeous as ever dressed in a red dress and seemed to be making heads turn with her attire. Ranveer was seen arriving at the screening in a different car.
Bollywood celebrities such as Ashutosh Rana and Sonu Sood were also present at the screening along with filmmaker Rohit Shetty and producer Karan Johar.
Simmba is based on the 2015 Telugu hit Temper and is directed by Rohit Shetty. In the film, Ranveer’s character is of a corrupt Maharashtrian cop who has a change of heart when a girl, who he considers his younger sister, gets raped.
The official trailer of Simmba, that was unveiled on December 3, has received great response from fans. The film also features Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo. Simmba hits the screens on December 28.
