Deepika…Ranbir…Vicky…Drug Party, Karan Johar responds
Karan Johar has reacted to allegations of hosting a drug-fulled party at his house and has warned to take a more ruthless course next time.
Karan Johar has said the allegation that celebrities including Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were in a "drugged state" at his party is "baseless".
This came weeks after a politician accused popular director and producer, Karan Johar of hosting a drug-fuelled party that was attended by Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
"Apparently, a shadow of light is perceived to be some kind of powder," he said. "They were having an easy night out. Would I be sharing that video if there was anything happening, I'm not stupid," Johar added.
SAD MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa who claimed that the video shared by Karan is a proof that drugs were used, had even requested the police to take cognizance; none of the celebrities have reacted to claims till now.
In an interview with famous journalist, Rajeev Masand, Karan Johar was asked about the powder-like-image that was appeared in the video he shared. Karan clarified that the reflection of a light near Vicky Kaushal was misconstrued as proof.
He even said that actor Vicky Kaushal was actually recovering from dengue and drinking hot water with lemon. "My mother, five minutes before this video, was sitting with us," he added. Karan further said he'll take legal action the next time "baseless" allegations are made.
