Tahira Kashyap is currently spending her time in isolation with her husband Ayushmann Khurrana and their children. From recent social media posts, the couple seems like they are having a gala time. Some fans have dragged Tahira Kashyap into a new rumour over Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana. Fans of the filmmaker wondered if Tahira Kashyap's mother has a role in Ramayana. However, the filmmaker and writer have debunked these rumours. She said that these rumours are baseless and her mother was just an educationist.
Taking to Twitter Kashyap wrote, "There's no truth to these reports of my mother, Mrs Anita Kashyap starring in the Ramayan show. All these reports are false. She was an educationist and has no connection with this show, whatsoever."
Recently Tahira took part in the Prime Minister's appeal of showing solidarity for healthcare workers amid Coronavirus. She shared a clip of her home in Chandigarh and Mumbai where people can be seen banging utensils. She captioned the video writing, "Scenes from my family in Chandigarh and Mumbai. These 5 minutes were surreal! I am not only connected to my folks but everyone. We, thousands and millions, shared those 5 minutes of happiness together, the 5 minutes where courage and determination surged from a happy life state to dispel the darkness that is trying to shroud our lives. This connection is called Humanity. We were and are meant to be one!". She also added a hashtag of #weshallovercome.
Tahira last directed a film called Pinni starring Neena Gupta. Kashyap is also working on a book titled, " The 12 commandments of Being a Woman."
