Four More Shots Please star Maanvi Gagroo slams a fashion brand for fat-shaming her, says 'I stand against this'

Maanvi Gagroo who's known for playing one of the girls in Amazon Prime's Four More Shots Please, slammed a fashion brand for allegedly fat-shaming her. Apparently, the fashion brand used Maanvi's picture without her permission and tried to sell their product. They put a fat-shaming suggestive tagline which read, "Styles to Hide your curves."

Maanvi shared the screenshot of the website and slammed the fashion brand for the same. She wrote, "I didn't wear this dress to 'hide my curves'. Not only does the brand NOT have my permission to use my picture as a sponsored post, they definitely don't have my permission to fat shame ANYONE! I stand against everything this distasteful tagline points to."

Maanvi is known for raising her voice openly in the public domain. A few days back, she wrote an open letter against the 'Bois Locker Room' case where some South Delhi guys were exposed to talking ill about underage girls. "The question is 'How did we get here?' Is it the systemic normalization of violence against women in our pop culture? Casual rape jokes? Dated yet a deeply internalized idea of 'giving the daughter away in marriage' or the widely accepted assertion of patriarchal ownership our rituals are ridden with?! Yes, misogyny begins at home. It seeps through our words. It reinstates through our actions & it is enabled through our gender-based morality, " her letter read.
