Prolific actor Chiyaan Vikram and star director Gautham Vasudev Menon have joined hands for the film Dhruva Natchathiram. This film went on floors in 2016 and it is yet to hit the screens. The budget issues caused the delay in the shoot. Finally, production house Vels International came in rescue for the film. We now hear that the movie will hit the screens by the end of this year. Even Gautham Menon revealed in a recent interview that Vikram will start dubbing for Dhruva Natchathiram after the COVID-19 lockdown.
Speaking in a recent interview, Gautham Menon confirmed the works of Dhruva Natchathiram are still on. He said that Vikram will start dubbing for the film once the situation comes back to normalcy. The makers are planning to release the film towards the end of this year. Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma have played the other important roles in the movie. Harris Jayaraj is composing the music of it.
On the other side, Gautham Menon is also working on his other directorial film Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha. This film features debutants Varun and Raahei in the lead roles. This romantic action thriller is in the final stages of its shoot. Ishari K. Ganesh is bankrolling the project under his banner Vels Film International. After wrapping up these two films, Gautham Menon is planning to make a sequel for his 2006 film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Kamal Haasan will play the lead role in it.
