Akshay Kumar is prepared to reconsider the musical style after participating in the 2010 movie 'Tees Maar Khan' in the qawwali song 'Wallah Re Wallah' respectively Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan. The latest afterlife movie of Sajid Nadiadwala, 'Housefull 4' includes a qawwali series with the character taking centre stage along with his co-star Rana Daggubati.
The source said that the song series is a face-off between Akshay and Rana and a significant part that pushes the narrative ahead, as per the near-development source. It also appears at a key point and is in a row with a pleasant discussion between the main character and the villain.
While Akshay and Rana are at the centre, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Jamie Lever, Johny, Ranjeet and Chunky Pandey and join the Jugalbandi as other main characters.
The directorial of Farhad Samji is spread over two periods — the current and the previous — where it also is a humorous take on the amazing story ' Baahubali ' of SS Rajamouli. Also, Farhad wrote the lyrics and formed the qawwali fundamental tune.
The source also said that the tune was recorded at a Mumbai studio in the current age. Dressed as qawwals for the movie, Akshay and Rana were entered by 200 follow-up performers.
Akshay performs a barber living in Queen's City, but some characters ' details were under covers. Also in a unique effect, the movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as an exorcist in a song shot previously this year.
