Rajinikanth's upcoming film Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, boasts a stellar cast including Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Sethupathi, Simran and Bobby Simhaa in important roles.
Recently, Rajinikanth's film Petta was censored with a U/A certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC). According to the censor report, the film runs for 172 minutes, which is 2 hours and 52 minutes. This is one of the longest films of Rajinikanth.
The theatrical rights of Petta for Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala is valued at Rs 32 crore. It is said that the film might earn over Rs 50 crore in the pre-release business.
Petta, which is produced by Sun Pictures, will hit the theatres on Pongal 2019. Since the film has been censored early, the film might release on January 10 along with Ajith film Viswasam.
