Recently, a newspaper reported that Allu Arjun has been roped in for the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit, 96 will be paired opposite Trisha for the film. Apparently, it is not true. There are no talks as such.
The newspaper had the below information mentioned. “Allu Arjun was keen on doing the film as he was impressed with Vijay Sethupathi's mature role in the Tamil original and wanted to replicate it. The producer, Dil Raju was keen on having Trisha for the Telugu remake not only because of her impressive work in the original, but also because she is quite popular among Telugu audiences. Allu Arjun would be joining the shoot in January and would be doing a performance oriented role, very different from the song and dance centric roles that he has has played before. His character is a typical boy next door and with an upcoming big ticket film with Trivikram Srinivas, Allu Arjun is ensuring that he is balancing out his roles across his films. Prem Kumar who directed the Tamil original would be directing the Telugu remake as well.”
But the aforementioned info has no truth to it at all.
