Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan who attended the Naame Theervu (We are the solution) launch, made some sensational comments by saying that there is no need to resume the film shoots immediately. The actor is currently active in making statements on various topics. "Unlike hospitals, cinema is not an essential commodity. So, there is no need to immediately open TASMAC shops. Film shoots can wait", said the 'Dasavatharam' actor.
The actor also claimed that Chennai shouldn't become the Corona capital of the state and requested the people to join hands in the battle against the pandemic. The actor asked the volunteers to help the medical professionals with PPEs and provide sanitizers, food, and other essentials to the needy. "Just like how we battled against several diseases, we should understand how the disease spreads first and act accordingly," added Kamal Haasan.
On the other hand, most of the producers and directors are requesting the Tamil Nadu Government to permit film shoots. So, being a senior hero in the industry, Kamal making this statement came out as a shocker for many.
Kamal's next film is Indian 2. It releases in Telugu as Bharateeyudu 2. There is no clarity on the film's shoot now.
