Kangana Ranaut debunks news about being called by the Mumbai police for interrogation regarding Sushant Singh Rajput's death

Various news sources on twitter recently revealed that the Mumbai police has asked Kangana Ranaut to give a statement about Sushant Singh Rajput's death. However, on Friday morning Kangana Ranaut's social media team has debunked all such news and said that it is entirely untrue. Her social media team said that the actress is more than willing to cooperate if the Mumbai police need her to help but for now she has not received any such request. Kangana Ranaut's official Twitter handle wrote, "Ms #KanganaRanaut hasn't received any such request from @MumbaiPolice yet, but as and when she does, she is more than willing to co-operate."

Following the death of Sushant Singh, Rajput Kangana shared a video where she blames Bollywood's nepotistic attitude for the death of the young actor. Kangana said that the big names in Bollywood do not let young talent rise up in the industry. She said, "Some people are saying that people who have weak minds get into depression and commit suicide. A person who is a rankholder in engineering entrance, how can his mind be weak? It can be seen from Sushant's posts that he is clearly begging people to watch his films saying he doesn't have a godfather and will be thrown out of the industry."

Kangana also attacked media reporters for dramatizing Sushant Singh Rajput's death for TRP. Sushant Singh Rajput was only 34 years old and was suffering from depression before he committed suicide on June 14. Kangana also questioned whether Sushant's death was due to suicide or a planned murder.
