Kangana Ranaut lashes out on Bollywood stars for their selective secularism; demands justice for Ajay Pandita's murder

The situation of Kashmiri Pandits in the region of Jammu and Kashmir is not getting any better. The recent example of the tension over there is the killing of a Pandit named Ajay Pandita. On June 8, the news of his murder broke on social media. He was a sarpanch and got shot by the terrorists. Since the news came out, people are demanding justice for him and asking to provide better security for the Kashmiri Pandits. Now, prolific actress Kangana Ranaut has also added her voice to the movement. She lashed out on Bollywood for their selective secularism. She also requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide justice to the victim's family.

Yesterday, Kangana's team posted a video of her discussing the issue. At the starting of the video, we can see Kangana holding the placard, "I Am Hindustan, I am Ashamed. Justice for Ajay Pandita. Murder in Anantnag. Jammu and Kashmir." The team captioned the video, "#KanganaRanaut calls out selective secularism of Bollywood and so-called liberals and urges @narendramodi@PMOIndia to take strict action against atrocities done on #KashmiriPandits and their safe return to their homeland. #AjayPandita #JusticeForAjayPandita."

Kangana has always been vocal about her political stance, unlike the other Bollywood actors. She is one of the few actors who sought justice to Kashmiri Pandits. Kangana also lashed out on so-called liberals and Bollywood stars for their selective secularism. We have to see if any Bollywood celebrity reacts to the statements made by Kangana.
