Katrina Kaif has come forward to help the daily wage workers in these times of distress. After other Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and others, Katrina Kaif is the next to contribute to the workers. On Tuesday, the Ek Tha Tiger actress shared a video in which she detailed her contribution through her beauty brand Kay Beauty.
She wrote, "Kay Beauty and the Dehaat foundation are partnering again for #KareWithKayBeauty. Together, we have lent our support to the daily-wage earning families living in the villages around the Bhandara district in Maharashtra, with food and basic sanitary materials.” She urged her fans to contribute towards the cause. “In times of need, every bit of help counts."
Earlier as well, Katrina made her contribution to the Prime Minister's relief fund called CARES (Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations). Even though the lockdown has moved towards its first step of unlocking, there is a massive coronavirus fear among people who are still unwilling to step out. This has added to the miseries of the daily wage workers who survive on hand-to-mouth.
In the video, Katrina further wrote, "Vrundan, the founder of De’Haat and her team have done such an excellent job all these years to support the community.”
On the work front, Katrina was last seen opposite Salman Khan in Bharat. She has recently signed up for a superhero flick with Ali Abbas Zafar and will become the first female Bollywood actor to have her own superhero film.
