Krishna and his Leela falls in legal trouble as the case gets filed on the film for defaming the characters of Lord Krishna, Radha and Satyabhama

Recent Telugu film Krishna and His Leela had a direct OTT release a couple of days back. Directed by Ravikanth Perupu, this movie featured Siddhu Jonnalagadda as the lead hero. Shraddha Srinath, Shalini, and Seerat Kapoor played the female leads in it. The film is receiving a good response after releasing on Netflix. However, a few sections of the audience feel that it is defaming the Hindu culture. Already, a case got filed in Hyderabad Cyber Crime Department, objecting to the usage of Lord Krishna and Radha's names for the lead roles. Even on social media, few netizens got offended with the way the film portrayed its lead characters using the names from Hindu mythology.

The other day, a lawyer named Shasha Jain tweeted, "A Telugu movie named 'Krishna & His Leela' has been released on @netflix on 25th June where a protagonist named 'Krishna' is shown having many affairs, where 1 of his girlfriend has been named as 'Radha'. Many sexually explicit scenes have been shown b/w them. Even in a video premiered on @SureshProdns's youtube channel which has been titled as 'Radha- Half of Krishna.' Both the above-mentioned characters are shown having phone sex and thereafter having sex with each other."

"The makers of this movie have deliberately & malafidely used the name of Lord Krishna & Devi Radha in order to malign their character and to degrade Sanatan Dharma. @netflix has become a hub of Hinduphobic shows and films. Strict action required," she added.
