Daggubati Ramanaidu is one of the most renowned film producers in the industry. He was the founder of Suresh Productions which is a leading production house at this moment. Ramanaidu also got a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most films produced by an individual. He has produced more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages. Today, Ramanaidu is celebrating his 84th birth anniversary. The fans are celebrating the occasion remembering the ace producer who is not with us anymore.
In 2012, Ramanaidu received the third-highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan, in recognition for his contribution to Indian cinema. Ge also received Dada Saheb Phalke Award, Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award as well.
In his long career, Ramanaidu bankrolled several blockbuster films which include, Ramudu Bheemudu, Prem Nagar, Kaliyuga Pandavulu, Aha Naa Pellanta, Coolie No. 1, etc.
Rana Daggubati got his name from his grandfather. The family members intentionally cut it short as Rana as they do not want to call the entire name which would disrespect Ramanaidu by calling his name. Suresh Productions is currently the top production house in Tollywood. Suresh Babu is carrying the legacy of his father successfully.
