Liger update: Karan Johar unveils a new poster and reveals that Liger will hit the theatres on September 9th!

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's most awaited film Liger's release date is finally here! The film will have a theatrical release on September 9th! Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is being bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Karan Johar took to his social media to share the release date with a new poster.

 
"All set to pack a punch around the globe! #Liger is releasing in theatres on 9th September worldwide in 5 languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam. #Liger9thSept #SaalaCrossbreed @TheDeverakonda @ananyapandayy #PuriJagannadh @charmmeofficial @apoorvamehta18," wrote Karan Johar while unveiling an exciting poster of Liger.
 
The poster comes with the tag of "Liger: Saala Crossbreed." This has definitely piqued the fans' interests. The poster projects a larger than life character of Arjun Reddy actor. The backdrop of the poster is the bloody playing field of the boxing ring. Vijay's character is screaming with intensity as Liger, a kickboxer.
 
Karan Johar had shared a video clip featuring Ananya Panday and Charmme Kaur yesterday. Ananya revealed that she was very excited about her first pan-India film. The film will be simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi and dubbed into Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Vijay Deverakonda will be essaying the role of a boxer. The first look and the cast of the film have set high-expectations among the audiences.
 
A few days ago, the first look poster for the film had arrived. Vijay had shared the poster with a sweet message promising "nationwide madness!" He wrote, "Humbly announcing our arrival Pan India! Someone with my background shouldn't have reached anywhere near here according to the conventions and set norms. But with sheer madness, passion, hard work, here we are! Nationwide madness guaranteed."
