Mahesh Babu takes up the Green India Challenge on his birthday! further nominates Jr NTR, Shruti Haasan and Thalapathy Vijay

Superstar Mahesh Babu turns 45 today! As a part of his birthday celebrations, Mahesh Babu took part in the Green India Challenge. Green India Challenge is a green initiative started by Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar. Prabhas was one of the first celebrities to take part in the challenge earlier this year. Several Tollywood personalities have taken part in this challenge. Mahesh Babu shared a video of him taking part in the challenge and said that there could not have been a better way to celebrate his birthday! Mahesh further nominated Jr Ntr, Shruthi Haasan, and Thalapathy Vijay to take up the Green India Challenge.

Several celebrities such as Samantha Akkineni, Keerthy Suresh, Rashmika Mandanna Ajay Bhupathi, Raashi Khanna, and Bhumika Chawla have planted saplings as part of the challenge. On the work front, Mahesh Babu is gearing up to star in Sakaru Vaari Paata. The film sheds light on the issue of bank fraud. Rumour has it that the team of Sakaru Vaari Paata has finalized Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Mahesh is also making his debut as a producer with the Adivi Sesh and Sobhita Dhulipala starrer Major directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.
