Marvel's Doctor Strange sequel, The Multiverse of Madness loses director as Scott Derrickson quits as director over creative differences.

In a Twitter post Derrickson who also directed the first Doctor Strange film quit as the director for the sequel to the Marvel film.

Marvel's Doctor Strange sequel, The Multiverse of Madness loses director as Scott Derrickson quits as director over creative differences.

It has been only a few months since Kevin Feige announced the sequel to Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch alongside Elizabeth Olsen. Titled Doctor Strange The Multiverse of Madness. The film was in the hands of Scott Derrickson who is famous for his horror films and even directed the first Doctor Strange film.

 
Derrickson even said that the sequel to the doctor strange film will be the first horror film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in recent news Scott Derrickson has stepped down from the director's chair for the Marvel film. Derrickson said that he is quitting due to creative differences but will continue to be the executive producer.
 
On his, Twitter handles Derrickson wrote, "Marvel and I have mutually agreed to part ways on Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness due to creative differences. I am thankful for our collaboration and will remain on as EP," as he announced the shocking news.
 
This news has left fans of the director disappointed and wondering over the new director.
