After playing the brutal gangster in Sacred Games, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is back with Motichoor Chaknachoor movie. Only this time he is not a gangster. The actor has paired up Athiya Shetty, who is making a comeback after her debut film Hero.
Motichoor Chaknachoor is a story of two neighbours who get married to each other for selfish reasons but end up in a pit after the truth gets revealed. Athiya’s character is eager to marry an NRI, just for the sake of leaving India. While Nawazuddin’s character is desperate to marry. The two ends up in a marriage and what continues is a fun-filled roller-coaster ride.
A couple of days ago, Bombay High Court had ordered a stay on the release of the trailer of Motichoor Chaknachoor. The trailer was initially supposed to release on October 10. This was due to a commercial arbitration petition, filed by Debamitra Biswal, writer and director of Motichoor Chaknachoor, over non-payment of dues by the makers of the film Woodpecker Movies Private Limited. The stay, however, was soon lifted post which the trailer released on October 11.
The trailer looks promising and entertaining and we can’t wait to see the chemistry of this new pair on the screens. Directed by Debamitra Biswal and produced by Viacom 18, Motichoor Chaknachoor will release on 15th November.
