Over the past week, the Mumbai police have called in many Bollywood celebrities to record their official statements. This is all regarding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The 34-year-old late actor was found dead in his Bandra home on June 14 after he committed suicide. On Sunday Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said that the managers of Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar will soon record their statements. However, according to the latest news the Mumbai police has revealed that Karan Johar himself will be recording a statement soon.
Anil previously wrote, "In 1-2 days Mahesh Bhatt's statement will be taken. Then under CRPC Kangana Ranaut has also been summoned. Whoever is needed we will summon. Karan Johar's manager has been summoned, and if needed we'll summon Karan Johar as well.” According to ANI's latest report, "Filmmaker Karan Johar's (in file photo) statement will be recorded this week in the Sushant Singh Rajput case: Mumbai Police."
Ever since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput trolls has massively bullied Karan Johar on social media. Karan is widely known as the king of nepotism in Bollywood. Many have credited this discrimination as the reason behind Sushant's tragic and untimely demise.
Kangana Ranaut also slammed Karan Johar recently over the news about his manager going to the Mumbai police. Kangana's official twitter account wrote, "How can @MumbaiPolice display blatantly shameless nepotism even in issuing summons? Kangana has been issued summon not her manager but Chief Minister's son's best friend's manager is called for questioning, why? saheb ko pareshani na ho issue?"
