Ekta Kapoor’s much anticipated show Naagin 5 is capturing the attention of millions of Indian households. The show is also among the select few Hindi tv shows that has resumed shooting amid the coronavirus outbreak. Naagin 5 star Mohit Sehgal has now said that he does not think one can wait until the coronavirus pandemic gets work before resuming work. Sehgal made a comeback in Naagin 5 after being away from the Hindi tv showbiz industry.
In an interview with IANS he said, “The show must go on. One can't wait till the coronavirus (pandemic) ends. It was important to resume work and move on.”
"Also, one should not neglect health while working. Proper precautions are being taken on the sets. We actors ensure we don't touch things here and there. Everything is taking care of now. The staff wears masks and shields while doing make-up of the actors. So, we all have been doing our best to take necessary steps," Mohit added.
Just a few days ago the actor shared a picture of himself from the sets of Naagin 5. In the picture, he can be seen wearing a breathing mask. Captioning the photo, he wrote, "Keeping our #masks on..From the sets of #Naagin5 #besafe #covid_19 (sic)."
Recently Urvashi Rautela also spoke about resuming work during the pandemic. She said, “Speaking about the Sampath Nandi directorial Urvashi Rautela said, “We are following all precautionary measures amid the COVID pandemic. It's 'lights, camera, mask on and action'. We are following all-new norms for 'Black Rose'. It is a difficult time but work has to go on.”
