Nani and Sudheer Babu teamed up with the director Mohan Krishna Indraganti for the film V. Dil Raju produced the film. The movie was the first one to get postponed, just before the lockdown. The makers of V planned to bring the film to the theatres on March 25th, on the occasion of Ugadi. Later, it got postponed from time to time and there is no clarity on the release of the same now. However, a lot of streaming platforms approached the team but the makers declined all the offers, to only see their film hitting the screens. Now, the buzz is that the makers are aiming to release the film for Christmas.
Since it is 25th film in the career of Nani, the makers want to take extra care in the film's release.
At the same time, Ram Pothineni completed the remake of Tamil film Thadam. Titled RED, he teamed up with director Kishore Tirumala for the third time. The makers planned to release the movie in April but postponed it because of the lockdown. The makers of RED are also now planning to release the film for Christmas.
Although, there is a chance for new releases during Dusshera, the makers do not want to take any chance. As of now, the teams of both films want to come for Christmas but there could be change of plans as well.
