Nawazuddin Siddiqui is Singaar Singh in Petta

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the finest performers in Indian cine industry. He will be making his Tamil debut with Rajinikanth’s Petta, which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
 
Yesterday, the makers of Petta revealed the role of Nawazuddin and it made us curious about the entire film. He plays Singaar Singh in Petta and he could be a villain or Rajinikanth’s confidante. Karthik Subbaraj and team have kept the details of the film under wraps.
 
The poster had Nawazuddin looking intense and he seems to playing a role of a slightly old man. It has been revealed that Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi essay the roles of Kaali and Jithu in the film.
 
In Petta, it is speculated that Rajinikanth will be seen as a lecturer in a convent. The motion poster of the film had elements of a chapel, candles and everything that we could spot in a church.
 
Petta produced by Sun Pictures will release on Pongal 2019. The film’s audio launch will take place in a grand fashion on December 9 at a private college in Chennai.
