The American streaming app called Netflix has become one of the most popular streaming apps worldwide. In India itself, the app has managed to attract a lot of audience with its exclusive movies and shows. However, some sections of the society found it difficult to afford the app's subscription and they remained distant from it for a long time. To fix that and attract maximum users, Netflix India decided to launch an affordable subscription plan for those who found it difficult to spend their pennies. The plan costs around 349 rupees and is called "Mobile+". One can stream videos in HD quality on their mobiles, laptops, tabloids, etc. It is only on their smart TVs and television sets that those users will not be able to stream the content.
The official account of Netflix India tweeted, "We launched the Mobile Plan in India to make it easier for anyone with a smartphone to enjoy Netflix. We want to see if members like the added choice this offer brings. We'll only roll it out long-term if they do."
It was only last year that the streaming giant launched their cheapest plan costing around 199 rupees per month where its users can stream the videos in SD (Support Quality). The two plans are immensely cheaper than their 'Basic' plan which costs around 499 rupees per month. Their 'Standard' and 'Premium' plan costs 649 and 799 rupees per month.
