2020 opened on a big note for the Telugu film industry as the two films that have released during Sankranthi, became blockbusters at the box office. Superstar Mahesh Babu and Stylish Star Allu Arjun came up with their respective films Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala...Vaikunthappuramuloo earlier this year. Both films have done extremely well at the box office. The actors have also announced their next projects but they are unable to take them on floors. According to the guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana, only films that got done with some part of the shooting can resume the works. No new film can go on floors as of now. Thus, both Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu have to wait for a few more months to kickstarts their projects.

 
Allu Arjun's next project will be Pushpa, which is being directed by Sukumar. The film's first look poster got unveiled a couple of months back on the occasion of Allu Arjun's birthday. It received a good response from the audience. This will be a pan-Indian film that will get released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. We hear that the shoot of this film will kickstart in August.
 
On the other side, Mahesh Babu will be working with Parasuram for his next project Sarkaru Vaari Paata. This film got announced a few days back. Due to the current situation, it cannot go on the floors as of now. The sources claim that it might get launched by the end of August or early September.
