As Nirup Bhandari turns 36 today, the makers of his upcoming film Phantom have a gift for him! The makers of Phantom unveiled Nirup's character poster! The film's main lead Kichcha Sudeep shared the poster via his social media. While there is not a lot of information about his character in the film, it was earlier said that he will be taking on a jovial and friendly role. In an earlier video director Anup Bhandari had said that Sanjeev Gambhira returns from London and is someone who laughs and makes others laugh. He is also someone who gets along with everyone.
The character poster invites the audience by saying "Welcome to the World of Phantom." The eerie poster showcases an ancient book with a hollow skull cut-out on the cover. Nirup's character is interestingly placed within skull projection. His character is wearing a sweater vest. He is carrying a bag, a music playing device and has a set of headphones around his neck. The poster is quite intriguing as it leaves the viewer questioning as to what role Nirup might be playing in the film!
"Nirup as #SanjeevGambhira aka Sanju #TheWorldOfPhantom #PhantomWelcomesNirup #Fakira," wrote Sudeep while welcoming Nirup to the team of Phantom!
This is the first time that Nirup will appear on screen alongside Sudeep. Nirup's brother, Anup Bhandari is directing the film.
Phantom is Nirup's 5th venture in the film industry. The actor who debuted with the horror thriller Rangitaranga was last seen in the film Adhi Lakshmi Purana. Phantom is the third film that the Bhadari Brothers are working on together after Rangitaranga and Rajaratha.
Phantom is jointly produced by Jack Manju and his wife Shalini Manjunath.
Meanwhile, Nirup Bhandari also has Sheetal Shetty’s directorial debut titled Window Seat in his kitty.
