Pankaj Tripathi says he struggled for 14 years in Bollywood to get his Identity

Pankaj Tripathi is a Bollywood actor, currently shooting for his film “Kaagaz” says he faced struggles for 14 years to get his name patch in Film Industry.
 
“Kaagaz” is created on the real life of a farmer named Bharat Lal also known as Lal Bihari. Bharat Lal fought for 18 years to create his identity. It took him 18 years of legal battle to create his identity and to attain his land and property legitimately.
 
According to the reports the Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi says in his word that “After reading the first draft of the (film’s) script without hesitation I agreed to step into the shoes of Bharat Lal. While reading the script I could easily relate the trauma and hardships Bharat Lal could have gone through for 18 years. Like Bharat Lal, I too struggled for 14 years to make my own identity in Bollywood”.
 
Pankaj Tripathi understands the importance of land for a farmer because he is also a son of a farmer.
 
Pankaj Tripathi also asserted that before trying his hand at acting he used to cultivate his own land along with his father. After passing out of the National School of Drama, Pankaj spent many years doing small time roles in Bollywood.
 
“It took 14 years to shape my destiny, in this whole process I never lose hope and kept on struggling till I carved out my own path in this industry. I have my own experience of long battle in Bollywood, the experience of joy, sorrows, and achievements the way Bharat Lal has his own tale to tell,”
 
One such incident is that Pankaj Tripathi used to work in a hotel kitchen at night and do theatre in the morning after finishing his night shift. He did it for two years, Pankaj used to come back and sleep for five hours and then do theatre from 2-7 pm and then again hotel work from 11-7 in the morning.
 
Coming to the film “Kaagaz”, it is directed by Veteran actor Satish Kaushik, whose last directorial was "Gang of Ghosts" in 2014. Satish Kaushik the 62-year-old filmmaker said that he has always admired Pankaj.
 
In an interview, he said that he believes his USP is his impeccable ability to get into the skin of all the characters he plays on screen and do complete justice to every role. From playing a comic character to a brutal villain, he is amazed by his versatility, he added. "Kaagaz" movie also features Nishant Kaushik and Monal Gajjar.
