Parineeti Chopra says she broke down in tears several times while filming for her upcoming Netflix film, “The Girl on the Train.”

Parineeti Chopra also said that she is overwhelmed by the positive response that fans have given to the film’s trailer after it came out on Wednesday.

Parineeti Chopra says she broke down in tears several times while filming for her upcoming Netflix film, “The Girl on the Train.”

Fans of Parineeti Chopra can hardly wait for her next Netflix film, The Girl on The Train to come out. The film is set to release on 26th February exclusively on Netflix. The Girl on The Train is a Hindi remake of a film by the same name from 2016. The original film stars Emily Blunt in the lead role and is based on a bestselling novel. Parineeti Chopra plays an eponymous girl taking the train who finds herself involved in the investigation of a missing person. Netflix released the trailer for the film on Wednesday which quickly garnered a lot of positive response.

 
Reacting to the overwhelming fan response, Parineeti Chopra said, ““I’m humbled with the response that I have been getting for my work in The Girl On The Train. I have given my blood, sweat and tears and tapped into the innermost traumatic memories of my life to bring this character to life. I don’t remember how many times I broke down on the sets because I was harnessing memories that I have purposely buried deep inside my mind and heart.”
 
The actress also admitted that she broke down multiple times while shooting for the film as it made her tackle many of her own past experiences. She said, “This film has taken me to hell and back because it was not easy to constantly think about my past and constantly keep me on edge all the time before doing a shot that was so intensely charged both physically and emotionally. It broke me, several times. but I am happy that my emotional journey to deliver the role effectively on screen is being appreciated unanimously.”
