After defeating the Republican Party's Donald Trump, Joe Biden won the US Presidential elections to become the President of the United States of America. Along with Joe Biden, Kamala Harris became the Vice-President of the United States. Congratulating the two, Priyanka Chopra expressed her happiness and excitement for their tenure. She took to her social media handle to share the picture of Biden-Harris and wrote, "America spoke in record-breaking numbers and the verdict is in... EVERY VOTE counts. I applaud everyone who voted in what was such a powerful display of how a democracy should function. It was amazing to witness this election in the US. Congrats to the President-Elect @joebiden and Vice President-elect @kamalaharris, the first woman VP! Dream Big girls! Anything can happen!! #DemocracyRocksCongratulations America (sic)."

Not just Priyanka, but Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, etc, also congratulated Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Ritesh Deshmukh posted a humorous message bidding Trump goodbye by using Biden's name. He wrote, "Achha chalta hoon, duaon mein yaad rakhna. Err. Ok BI-DEN."
