Producers go clueless about resuming the shoots of their films with the ongoing Corona Crisis going beyond control; More details inside

With the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic , Film shootings all over the world came to a halt in March this year. Now, as they are resuming,Britain and Hollywood studios are launching their shoots, with precautionary measures, a few test shoots were also done recently. Well, the situation is entirely different in India. As the government failed to control the spread of the virus, there's a rapid rise in the spread across the country. Although Hindi & Malayalam industries have launched their shoots, its a 'NO' way for Tollywood.

With few sitcoms and daily soap operas resuming , the industry was hoping to resume the film shoots too. But, the reports of an actor testing positive for Corona, forced them to a halt from today. Producers Guild held a meeting yesterday, a Zoom conference, which went on for hours. Although there were debates that it's high time to resume the shoots considering the financial stability of the industry, many others have argued opposing it as the spread is rapid in Telugu states.

After many hours of discussion, the guild has arrived at the decision of halting the shoots for now and also instructed the filmmakers not to plan any test shoots too. More details on when and how to launch the shoots will come out soon.
