Uttej is one of the most talented and underrated actors in the Telugu film industry. Apart from acting, he has also written and worked as an assistant director for many films in his career. Today, he celebrates his birthday. On this occasion, Uttej's longtime friends and popular directors Puri Jagannadh and Krishna Vamsi conveyed their birthday wishes to the actor.

Uttej has worked in Puri's directorial films like Itlu Shravani Subrahmanyam, Chirutha and Jyothilakshmi.
Krishna Vamsi has also shared a tweet on Uttej. He wrote, "One of d rarest n most underrated talents of TFI. Fortunate to b friend of u. Happy birthday. God bless." Krishna Vamshi and Uttej have collaborated for many films in the past. Their works include, Ninne Pelladutha, Khadgam, Rakhi, Chandamama and Mahatma. Uttej has also penned the dialogues for films like Ninne Pelladutha, Khadgam and Chandamama.
Uttej entered the industry with the 1989 film Shiva. He, along with Puri and Krishna Vamsi, worked as an assistant director for the movie. Later, he became a full-time actor. His daughter Chetana has also made her debut as a lead actress a couple of years back. We wish him a very happy birthday and hope he comes up with many more interesting projects in the future.
