RRR is undeniably one of the most anticipated upcoming films in Indian cinema. Directed by SS Rajamouli, this movie features Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. The shoot of this film stopped in midway due to the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown. However, Rajamouli planned to test shoot earlier this month with a minimal crew. But even that didn't happen. Now, RRR's cinematographer Senthil Kumar revealed the reason behind canceling the test shoot. He stated that the rise in coronavirus cases made the team back out from the idea of a test shoot.
Speaking to a media house, Senthil said that the team planned to come to a conclusion on the current scenario by conducting a test shoot. Generally, Rajamouli's film needs at least 500 people every day on the sets. But the government allowed only 50 members on a film set. When Rajamouli planned to try out with a minimal crew, Hyderabad witnessed a sudden spike in the COVID-19 cases. This made the team to cancel the test shoot as well. Senthil confirmed that the shoot will only resume once the situation gets back to a normal state.
RRR features Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris as the female leads. Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran are playing the other pivotal roles in it. MM Keeravani is composing the music of this film and DVV Danayya is bankrolling it. RRR will hit the screens in 2021.
