Rajinikanth, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and others as impressive gangsters on the big screen. Whom do you like?

Gangster dramas always have a special place in the hearts of film lovers. Even in India, there were many memorable gangster films made over the years. Today, we bring you some of the memorable gangster roles played by our South Indian heroes:

Rajinikanth (Basha)

Basha is one of the remarkable films in the career of Rajinikanth. It was one such film that can get justice done only by Rajini. The actor gave his best and made it a huge hit at the box office.

Mahesh Babu (Businessman)

This is not a typical gangster movie and Mahesh Babu didn't play a lavish gangster character in it. He is more like an underdog who is smart enough to take control of a city by his tactics. One of the best performances of Mahesh. His fans still wish him to play such a grey-shaded character.

Pawan Kalyan (Panja)

Gangster films are all about guns and weapons. Who else can handle guns better than Pawan Kalyan in Tollywood? Though this action drama failed to perform well, it remained as one of the special films for Pawan and his fans.

Ajith (Billa)

Ajith's 2007 film Billa is a remake of Rajinikanth's Billa, which itself is a remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Don. What Ajith brought to the table is the style statement. Everyone thought a Don would look like this, after watching Ajith in this film. Such was the impact created by him.

Prabhas (Billa)

This 2009 film is the remake of Ajith's Billa. We have to agree on this: Prabhas can only be the option to counter Ajith's antics in Tamil Billa and the Baahubali actor lived up to the expectations. One of the stylish films in Prabhas' career.

Yash (KGF)

No one needs an introduction to this epic action thriller. The major asset of this film is its lead hero Yash. The Kannada star perfectly suited the role of a gangster who rises from rags to riches. Now, all eyes are on this film's sequel, KGF Chapter: 2.
