and Rakul Preet Singh
are all set to star in their first feature film together. The pair will share the screen in director Kasshvie Nair's debut film. The film will follow a tale of romance across borders. Sources say Arjun, Rakul, and John Abraham
will resume shooting for the cross-border romance flick at the Film City Studios in Mumbai. The cast and crew will begin shooting on August 25th!
Nikkhil Advani, one of the film's producers confirmed the news. “Kaashvie, John, Bhushanji, and my team have worked hard to make sure that all actors are safe and comfortable. We’ve taken them through all the safety protocols certified by the state government through the Film’s Producers Guild. It will be a 10-day shoot with the entire cast. After this, we will be left with a four-day schedule, which will happen after the rains, around September end. We had initially planned to film from March 21 to the beginning of April, but the lockdown hit that plan for a six," informed Advani.
The film is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, John Abraham, and Nikkhil Advani. The team of the Rakul-Arjun starrer was just 14 days from completion when the lockdown fell into place.
Apart from Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh, actors Neena Gupta and Kawaljeet Singh will play pivotal characters.
Meanwhile, Rakul will next appear in a comedy film starring Ajay Devgn
and Sidharth Malhotra. Rakul will also be starring in the most anticipated sequel to Kamal Hassan's hit 1996 film Indian. Arjun Kapoor, on the other hand, has Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Kaneda in his kitty.
