Rakul Preet Singh partners with Million Dollar Vegan India to donate food amid the coronavirus pandemic
Rakul Preet Singh will participate in a food donation drive in association with Million Dollar Vegan India to help people get access to healthy vegan food amid the coronavirus pandemic starting from tomorrow
Actress Rakul Preet Singh took to her social media to announce her partnership with Million Dollar Vegan India. She will work with the organization on a food drive that will span over four days. The food drive starts tomorrow in the slums of Dharavi.
"Hi guys! These are extremely tough times and we need to do whatever little we can. So I have partnered with Million Dollar Vegan India to donate food across 4 days to the Dharavi slums starting tomorrow," said Rakul on her Instagram Story earlier today. She has now taken to her Instagram feed to share a note about veganism and small acts of kindness.
Rakul Preet Singh took this opportunity to advocate for veganism as well. Rakul shared a photo of herself with a message written on the side. It reads, "We need to become more informed consumers and know who pays the price for our choices. Pandemics like what we are facing are born and bred choices which could be avoided. Choose to be informed. Adopt a plant-based diet for yourself, your planet and the animals."
Rakul shared the photo and took to the caption to talk about small acts of kindness. She wrote, "Proud to be an official supporter of @milliondollarvegan_india. Catch us this weekend in Dharavi donating vegan food. Always remember that there is no such thing as a small act of kindness, every act creates a ripple. So, #bekind whenever and however you can! #vegan."
On the work front, Rakul Preet was last seen in the film Shimla Mirchi. She will appear in several films such as Ayalaan, Indian 2, Attack, Chale Chalo and Thank God. She will also star in an untitled Telugu film directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti.
