One of the major industries to get affected by the coronavirus pandemic is the film industry. After the virus started spreading across the world, all the film shoots got stalled. In India, the film production came on a halt in March. Recently, the government of Telangana gave permission to resume the shooting works of films, television serials and web shows. With this, the situation is getting back to normalcy in Telugu film and television industries. Meanwhile, after a long time, Ramoji Film City is looking good with shootings happening all around the studio.
Currently, the shooting of the serial Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu got started in Ramoji Film City. The makers are currently shooting it in a house set. The team is following all the guidelines given by the government. The Government stated that social distancing should be strictly followed on the sets. Not more than 50 members get allowed on the set. There should be a medical officer and an ambulance on the location. The premises should get sanitized regularly. The film teams are following all these instructions.
As of now, the government allowed the shooting of the projects which got stopped in a mid-way. No new projects can go on the floors anytime soon. We hear that the government will allow the new film shoots once the situation gets back to normalcy. On the other side, big projects like RRR and Acharya are also gearing up to resume shootings very soon.
