Ever since the theaters got shut down, quite a few films are opting for a direct digital release to get out of the financial burden. In the last four months, we have seen many movies getting released directly on the internet. There are no signs of the theaters opening anytime soon. Thus, it is being speculated that a few big Telugu films will also opt for an OTT release. Ravi Teja's Krack is one of those films. However, the film's director Gopichand Malineni has confirmed that Krack will have a theatrical release for sure.
This morning, Gopichand Malineni took on to Twitter to announce the news. He tweeted, "#krack in Theaters only." This news has relieved all Ravi Teja's fans who want to watch the movie only in the theaters. Krack was originally slated for the release on May 8. But the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown has ruined all the plans. Currently, the movie is in the final stages of the shoot. The new release date will get announced once the theaters reopen across the country.
Krack features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Thaman is composing the music of this film. It marks the reunion of Ravi, Gopichand, Shruti, and Thaman after a gap of seven years. All of them have earlier worked together for the movie Balupu. Krack also features Samuthirakani and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in the other important roles. Tagore Madhu is bankrolling the project.
